Authorization for the Processing of Personal Data

Version 2026-07-14 · In accordance with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP). The Spanish version prevails for legal purposes in Ecuador.

By creating an account on BizziTrips, you give your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent for your personal data to be processed under the terms of this authorization.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the data you provide when registering and using the service: name, username, email address and password (stored encrypted). When you make a booking we may collect additional data required to provide the service, such as contact details, traveler information and billing data. For security we record technical data such as the IP address and the date and time this authorization was accepted.

3. Purposes of processing

• Create and manage your user account.
• Manage bookings, payments, confirmations and delivery of the contracted tourism services.
• Send transactional communications (account verification, password recovery, booking status).
• Handle support requests and comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
• Prevent fraud and ensure the security of the platform.

4. Legal basis

The main legal basis is your consent, given by accepting this authorization. Processing is also supported by the performance of the service contract, compliance with legal obligations and the controller's legitimate interest in platform security.

5. Transfers and processors

Your data may be shared with providers acting as data processors (payment gateways, email services, hosting and technology infrastructure) solely for the stated purposes and under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal data. For any international transfers, the safeguards required by the LOPDP will be adopted.

6. Retention period

We will retain your data while your account remains active and, thereafter, for the periods needed to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations, or to handle potential claims. Once those periods elapse, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, updating, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions, as well as withdraw this consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise them, write to g.bizzitrips@bizzitrips.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with Ecuador's Superintendence of Personal Data Protection.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. Passwords are stored encrypted and communications take place over secure channels.
